UAS Swarm Coordination

I'm working with a small team of researchers at the University of Michigan to develop a novel pathfinding algorithm for drones. The objective is to find a way to use drones to explore their environment to identify potential hazards so that high-risk missions can be completed with minimal risk to human life. We've published a preliminary version of the work to the AIAA conference.

VR Military Simulation

I developed a VR environment to assist special forces soldiers to train their breaching techniques in a controlled environment. The system track soldiers and then provides analytics to help the soldiers identify potential mistakes. This work was presented to a skills-group of 50+ stakeholders, including representatives from the Navy Seals.

Autonomous Drone Pathfinding

I designed and implemented a novel iteration of the D* Lite algorithm to control a drone swarm for MITRE's MASE Lab. As a result, MITRE is now equipped with a state-of-the-art facility capable of supporting drone swarms for future research.

Disinformation Identifier

I worked with a small team of programmers to develop an algorithm to identify and respond to disinformation campaigns on social media sites. It was abale to identify disinformation in text as well as in images and videos by using an OCR model.

Lyme Disease Detector

Lyme Disease Detector

I developed a mobile app capable of identiying the characteristic Erythema Migrans (EM) rash, which is a key symptom of Lyme disease. This rash can look like a number of other similar rashes, which means that doctors only identify it correctly 40% of the time. This model, however, is much better (90% accuracy.)

I worked with a professor from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Dept. of Radiology) to investigate the cardiological impacts of COVID-19 post-infection. The research was published - check it out here!

I worked with a professor from George Mason University to develop a flood-prediction algorithm capable of forecasting future weather in the Chesapeake bay. It was published to GMU's iFlood website, which can be found here!

U.S Army Cybersecurity Research

Cybersecurity Research

Over a period of 8 weeks, I worked with a team of researchers from the U.S Army to identify potential cybersecurity threats to a number of critical systems. I also wrote a 14-page research paper exploring the threats facing smart-farming systems, which are critical to our food supply. You can find it here!
